Desk workers should regularly stretch their necks. Read more:

Working in a fixed position at your desk makes your neck muscles tight and this can produce pain and headaches.

Make sure you get up and move every 30 minutes. These two neck stretches can help relieve tightness in your muscles.

Desk-work exercise_trapezius stretch Upper trapezius stretch

Gently stretch your ear to your shoulder till you feel tightness along the side of your neck. Hold 15 seconds. Repeat twice.
Deskwork exercise levator scapulae stretch

Levator scapulae stretch

Gently stretch your nose towards your underarm till you feel tightness in the muscle running from your neck to your shoulder blade.  Hold 15 seconds. Repeat twice.
